Although all the service providers claim that they will provide a minimum 99% or 99.9% server uptime, however it does not include planned or unplanned maintenance and therefore the actual server uptime is different than what is claimed.
You should look for a guaranteed server time and if the web host service provider in Malaysia fails to achieve the guaranteed time, the service provider will generally refund a fixed amount. A good web host company in Malaysia will disclose the facts correctly under their terms and conditions or under LCA agreement so look for it first before deciding in favor of a particular company.
Price is the major part of the decision and we all give price the utmost priority, however in addition to price all other factors as mentioned above should also be considered before we make a decision in favor of a particular web hosting company.
